Diamond Custom Homes joins as general contractor for high-end renovation
EDGE, an award-winning interior design and custom cabinetry firm, was selected to lead a full interior renovation of a single-family home on Marsala Way in the exclusive Marsala neighborhood of Tiburón. The project began in May 2025 and was completed in August 2025, in partnership with general contractor Diamond Custom Homes.
Originally built as a spec home, the residence is undergoing a comprehensive transformation to reflect the homeowner’s personal vision and love of transitional modern design.
“The clients wanted something that felt uniquely theirs,” said Adriene Ged, director of interior design at EDGE. “They were inspired by other custom renovations in the community and wanted to create a home with character, functionality and individuality.”
The remodel includes replacing all flooring with medium-toned white oak for warmth and visual continuity. A new front door featuring switchable glass will allow for instant privacy or transparency with the flip of a switch. The kitchen is being fully redesigned, including a squared-off island in place of the existing angled layout, and a curated mix of greige-painted and stained oak cabinetry, metal and glass accents, and a standout cabinet using 3form resin panels. In the primary suite, the bathroom is being updated with large-format natural stone flooring, 3D-textured shower walls, a new soaking tub, modern plumbing, a glass enclosure and custom mirrors.
The great room will be transformed with a new television feature wall made from stained flat stock wood to match the flooring, along with wall sconces and wallpaper for texture and depth. Additional updates include new cabinetry in the mudroom, wallpapering of several tray ceilings and repainting the entire interior. The design emphasizes a soft, natural palette of creams and browns with blue accents that appear in key elements such as the kitchen quartzite and bathroom stone.
